Kendriya Vidyalaya, Barpeta, Assam  invites applications for the recruitment of PRTs, TGT Sanskrit, PGT Hindi, Assamese Teacher, Computer Instructor, Yoga Instructor, Nurse on contractual basis for the Academic Session 2023-24. Interested and eligible Candidates may apply.

Name of Posts & Subject : 

(1) PGTs (Post Graduate Trained Teacher) on: 

Subject: 

(a) Hindi

Educational Qualification:

1. Two years’ Integrated Post Graduate M . A . / M.Sc. Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject; 

OR 

Master Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate in Hindi or Sanskrit with Hindi as one of the subjects at Graduate level. 

2. B.Ed. or equivalent degree from recognized university 

3. Proficiency in teaching in Hindi. 

(2) TGTs( Trained Graduate Teachers):

Subject: 

(a) Sanskrit

Educational Qualification:

1. Four years’ Integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate 

OR 

Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in concerned subject and in aggregate with Sanskrit as a subject in all the three years. 

2. Pass in Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Paper - II conducted by CBSE in accordance with the guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose. 

3. B.Ed or equivalent degree from a recognized university. 

(3) PRTs ( Primary Teachers)

Educational Qualification:

i) Senior Secondary School Certificate with 50% marks orIntermediate with 50% marks or its equivalent and 

ii) Diploma of Certificate in basic teachers’ training of durationof not less than two years or B.El.Ed /JBT. 

iii) Pass in Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Paper – I, conducted by theCBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose. 

iv) Competence to teach through Hindi & English media. Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Applications

Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Applications

(4) Assamese Language Teacher (ALT)

Educational Qualification:

Graduation with Assamese subject in all the three years of graduation with minimum 50% marks.

(5) Yoga Teacher 

Educational Qualification:

1. Graduation in any subject or equivalent from a recognized University. 

2. One-year training in Yoga from a recognized institution

(6) Nurse

Educational Qualification:

B.Sc Nursing/ Diploma in Nursing( Recognized by the government)

(7) Computer Instructor: 

Educational Qualification:

1. B.E or B. Tech. (Computer Science) /BCA/MCA/M.Sc (Computer Science), M.Sc (Electronics with computer science component) M.Sc (IT)/B.Sc (Computer Science) 

OR 

Bachelor’s /Master Degree in any Science subject/ Mathematics from Govt. recognized University with post graduate diploma in computer application from Govt. recognized University/ Institute 

OR 

Post Graduate Degree in any subject with post graduate diploma in computer application from Govt. recognized University/ ‘O ‘Level from DOEACC 

OR 

Post Graduate Degree in any subject with minimum ‘A ‘Level from DOEACC. 

2. Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION: Knowledge of computer applications for all the posts.

Note : 

1.Candidates for the post of PRT, Computer Instructor, Assamese Teacher must come prepared for written screening test to be held at 9:00 am on that day. 

2. Candidates coming for all the teaching posts must come prepared for demo class.

INSTRUCTIONS: 

Qualifications acquired by the candidates should be strictly in accordance with the prescribed qualifications and candidates should not seek claim of equivalence of their qualifications with that of qualifications as asked for. 

1. Wherein grades have been given, equivalent marks of gradation should be attached.

 

2. Qualifications mentioned above may be relaxed in case of highly deserving and suitable candidates if they are found to be so. 

3. Candidate should not fill in those qualifications in the application form for which they have appeared in any of the examination whose result is awaited/withheld/not declared/marks sheet not received till the last date of submission of applications. 

4. No TA/DA will be paid for attending interview. 

5. Salary and Service conditions: As per KVS Norms. 6. Duties and responsibilities of contractual teachers: - 

a) Regular classroom activity/copy checking. 

b) Invigilation duty /evaluation work. 

c) Helping students and colleagues in preparation and organization of different curricular/Co-curricular activities in the Vidyalaya. 

d) All other works assigned by Principal.

Documents Verification:

They must bring completely filled up Registration Form (Provided in Annexure-A) along with one set of self-attested copies of the mark sheets / certificates / testimonials etc. They should bring along their valid Identity card for entering the Vidyalaya campus on the day of interview).
